To flash the Gionee P5L, you need to install the MTK driver.

Download and extract SP Flash Tool Kit.

Double-click Flash tool.exe from the displayed icon.

To start the program on your PC, click on Scatter-Loading which appears on the right side of the tool.

Now assign the firmware to "Android scatter.txt" format.

Click Download to start flashing.

If a connection cannot be established without touching any key while in off mode, turn off the phone and connect it to the PC by pressing the Volume Down and Volume Up buttons.
